Copyright

Back

Unfortunately, I have already had to take action against websites that have illegally reproduced my work as their own. I don't mind people referencing my work, providing I have given prior permission - however, I will not allow people to simply copy my hard work.

I have provided free access to my work over the net since 1998. I fully intend to continue but I will always take action against people infringing my copyright as defined by international laws and treaties.

Please bear in mind that:

* If material is reproduced on a website, it is usually possible to have the hosting company close the offending site down
* If you have claimed my work as your own whilst studying for a qualification, you may be disqualified for plagiarism.

"Copyright protection subsists from the time the work is created in fixed form. The copyright in the work of authorship immediately becomes the property of the author who created the work. Only the author or those deriving their rights through the author can rightfully claim copyright." - US Copyright Office.
